Hi, I am looking to join a dance school that has hip-hop/modern dance classes in Phoenix or Scottsdale area. You know, classes that teach me moves i can bust out in clubs not salsa or other form of dancing. Let me know if anyone knows any good school.

search online for mma gyms in your area or surrounding areas, that's the best way to find a gym. that's how i found alot of gyms when i moved to florida, and brought me to where i am now.

best beauty school in phoenix/scottsdale, arizona?
best beauty school in phoenix/scottsdale, arizona?
i need help finding a cosmetology school. also, what requirements are needed to get into one in general? i looked at the toni & guy academy website, but it looks like its only for hair when i want to learn hair, make up, AND nails.

All you need is your HSD or GED. The Cosmetology Course at ANY school in ANY state is for Hair, skin and nails. It may focus more on hair, but you'll be licensed in all three. The best thing for you to do is pick a school that catches your eye, Go in and experiance it for yourself. Get a tour, and ask questions. Get your hair done, or something. Make sure the school is professional and the students know what they are doing...Go to a school that fits you.

Are there any quality Krav Maga schools in Phoenix, Arizona?
By quality I mean truly capable of teaching someone to fight, I'm planning to become a SWAT officer so it's not just one of those stupid I wanna kick ass things. Any advice is appreciated.

I'm not familiar with KM schools in Phoenix. One thing that I always suggest to people is to find a place that is affiliated with John Whitman's Krav Maga Alliance. I'm not one hundred percent sure, but I don't think that there is place in Phoenix that's affiliated with Krav Maga Alliance. But that doesn't mean that there isn't a legit facility. What I suggest that you do is visit some of the KM schools and watch several classes of the beginner and advanced levels. Any legit place will have pretty hardcore stress drills, and sparring in levels 2 and higher. They should have one or two nights a week set aside for "fight classes". Also, it's a good idea that the school have other disciplines that they specialize in other than KM; BJJ, and MMA is always good. Nothing like having an advanced KM instructor who's well versed in BJJ. Make sure that the instructors have a deep background in martial arts. A lot of KM schools will have instructors that have no background in any other martial art. They simply got passed off to instruct certain levels of KM. Avoid those schools. Some schools have a propensity to dumb down their classes to the lowest denominator to accommodate the weak. Avoid those as well. KM is NOT for everyone. Finally, take one or two gratis class

during a high school homecoming game a guy streaked the homecoming game cant remember what year it was. had to be one of those 3 years. searched high and low and cant find it.

You have to be mexican.. My husband always talks like that "until when" lol anyways well seeing how this summer is almost over, the next would have to be thanksgiving break Nov 27th-Nov 30.. then theres Christmas break which is usually around Dec 22 - Jan 6th or something like that.. Oh and school started in August around the 23rd.

Labor day, Thanksgiving, then Christmas break for two weeks or so. School started in most districts on August 11th.
